Embryolisse is a company I only came across this year, their story begins in a Parisian hospital in the 1950's, a dermatologist created the Lait-Creme Concentre which has become a myth sold by millions around the world. Guided by the philosophy of essentials the laboratories embryolisse developed an expertise in derma-cosmetic care. From this a whole range of skincare products was created to answer for all needs of the face and body to maintain health and beautiful skin. Best of all their products are cruelty free, along with many being vegan.

embryolisse review

Firstly, although I am usually a fan of pretty packaging I love the simplicity of Embryolisse packaging designs; simple, sophisticated, natural with only a pop of colour. Secondly, what I love about this product is that it has more than one purpose, it can be used as a make up remover, moisturiser, after-sun care, after shave care and even on babies. I have been using it to remove my make up at night which it does so easily and as a moisturiser. The cream is a very light, smooth, velvety lotion that soaks into the skin like a dream restoring moisture leaving the skin soft and supple. Due to the lightness of this product a little goes a long way and you will find a 500ml bottle lasting you a long time, making it great value for money. The product contains natural, nourishing and hydrating ingredients such as emollient oil, shea butter, aloe vera and soy proteins.

embryolisse review

This duel action beauty stick aims to cool and brighten the eye area, working wonders on even the most sensitive of skins. It aims to wake up the complexion with its opalescence ties to wake up lethargic eyes and erase sallow skin. Puffy bags, heavy lids and dark circles are given a boost for radiant eyes, with vegetal extracts of lucerne and lupinus to tone up the skin by stimulating collagen and lymphatic purification to diminish puffy eyes. I am split on this product, I do have tired eyes with dark under eye circles and although the product is easy to apply soaking into the skin rapidly, my eyes still look tired. No matter what I use I forever have horrid yellow skin under my eyes and I hate it so much, it makes me look incredibly tired all the time so I am sad to say this product has done nothing to diminish this. However, using this product does make the skin around my eyes feel more refreshed and offers a boost to relieve the feeling of tired eyes, especially at night when you need to stay awake and you can feel your eyes starting to give up on you, apply this and it instantly wakes them up, something that I love about this product. Although I like that the stick makes my eyes feel awake, personally I would prefer it to have tackled the issue of having dark patches under my eyes over anything else so for the price I am not sure it is something I would buy again.

Have you tried any products from embryolisse, let me know your thoughts.
