Honda BR-V, The Largest Head Unit In LSUV Class

The latest Honda BR-V has a lot of touches on the exterior and features, here are some parts that have received a revised appearance. PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) launched the New Honda BR-V with refreshments on the exterior and new features in the cabin. On the exterior, the presence of the New Door Side Garnish makes the appearance of the New Honda BR-V even more resilient, while providing a sense of security and confidence when driving on various road conditions.

This new design complements the appearance of the Honda BR-V which was previously equipped with a Projector Headlamp with LED Light Guide which provides maximum illumination as well as a luxurious impression, and a Fog Lamp to increase visibility when driving in foggy conditions. Driving on the Honda BR-V is also easier with the Power Retractable Door Mirror to fold the rear view mirror automatically in one touch and the Shark Fin Antenna for a more dynamic look.

Inside the cabin, the New Honda BR-V is now equipped with the widest audio screen in its class with an 8-inch Floating Touchscreen Display Audio head unit. This audio system is compatible with various music formats via media such as AM / FM Radio, MP3, USB Port, Aux Input, Bluetooth, and Smartphone Connection, and can display multimedia via HDMI Mode with an optional cable and Android Mode with Smart App Car.

Not only that, the driver's seat has also been equipped with a New Armrest Console to support the driver's comfort during the trip. The driving comfort of the New Honda BR-V is more complete with pre-existing features, such as the Tilt Steering feature which can adjust the steering wheel to the rider's body posture. Digital AC also comes with a modern look and Double Blower in the second row for evenly coolness, and the One Touch Tumble 2nd Row Seat feature for folding the second row seats with one touch for passenger convenience.

One of the most interesting things about the interior of the Honda BR-V is the Nanoe feature. These features are the same as those pinned by PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) on the CR-V starting in early January 2015. Skip Functionally, the Nanoe on the CR-V and BR-V remains the same, which works by producing electrostatic particles of nano-sized water that are blown up. from the nanoe module. In the BR-V, it is in the head unit and is distributed via air conditioning. Honda claims, if this feature is activated it can improve the air quality in the cabin

The particles cannot be felt by the driver or passenger, but after a few minutes, the air quality in the cabin gets better.

More Luxurious and Sporty Interior

The theme of the Prestige facelift BR-V is luxury and a more sporty feel. This is most visible from the leather material wrapping on all the seats, the transmission lever, to the armrests attached to the door. With this addition, Honda claims the BR-V as the only Japanese LSUV in the Indonesian market that uses leather seats.

The second row seats feel more comfortable and soft thanks to the added thickness. Now there is also a center headrest for the seats in that row.

Meanwhile, a sporty impression is raised through red accents on the seats and red stitching on the transmission handle. Setting the driving position more freely with the Height Adjuster starting from type E, but the steering wheel settings are still Tilt (up and down), not Telescopic (forward-backward).
Other updates to the cabin are New Tweeter Speakers, New Dashboard Panel Pattern, New Auto A / C.

Three New Features

There are three new features in the Prestige BR-V facelift, namely the New 8 Inch Capacitive Touchscreen Display Audio, New Smart Entry System, New One Push Ignition System. The two features mentioned later can be enjoyed in type E. The new 8-inch Head Unit has various capabilities, one of which can be connected to a smartphone via application so that it can view a web browser, YouTube, or navigation (Waze). Unfortunately, the screen is less sensitive to touch and it looks like the software needs updating.
